If prices, the chart or the option chain look stuck, it's almost always one of a few simple things.
Quick checks
- Is the market open? Prices only move during market hours — equities ~9:15 AM-3:30 PM, MCX commodities ~9:00 AM-11:30 PM IST. Outside these, prices are static (that's correct, not a bug).
- Refresh the page — a hard refresh (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + R) reloads the live connection.
- Check your internet — a dropped connection pauses the live stream; it resumes when you're back online.
- Update the app — on Android, make sure you're on the latest version from the download page.
Still frozen during market hours?
Occasionally the data feed reconnects (e.g. right at market open) and catches up within a moment. If a specific chart looks behind, switch instruments and back, or refresh.

Most often the market is closed. During hours, refresh once — the chain updates every few seconds.
Why did the chart stop at yesterday?
Try a refresh; the live session should stream from the market open. If not, switch the timeframe or instrument to reload.
Are static prices after 3:30 PM a bug?
No — equities close at 3:30 PM, so prices stop. Commodities keep moving until ~11:30 PM.
